The above was my first morning in California at my new job. Unfortunately, I've had to dive headfirst into most everything the past couple of weeks, it's been difficult to try to come up with any sort of a routine. I'm hoping by the end of this week I can get my life a little more sorted out and I can move along at a steady pace day by day. I also need to make my list of goals again. It's a new year, in a new place, I can make some new goals.
One thing I'm going to say, though, is that I've decided that the blog will be going to a Monday, Wednesday, Friday format. Without the ability to write while I'm on the job, it's super difficult to get posts out every day. Also, I'm trying to read every morning. Right now I'm reading Art/Work by Heather Darcy Bhandari and Jonathan Melber. I've already started doing a few things from the book. It's much easier for me to read it while next to the laptop, because then I can go ahead and make files and organize my art life.
So, I'm off to do my reading. I'm working on a little bit of knitting, but it's nothing much to report. Maybe next week I'll have some more.
See you Friday!
